Financial statements

Describe this month in plain words: money in and out, expenses you paid on the company’s behalf, social insurance and housing fund (paid from the company account or your own pocket), one row of salary and special deductions per employee, bank balances and money owed. Submitting produces a balance sheet and an income statement, every line explains how it was computed on hover, and the whole thing exports to PDF. A sample report is shown as soon as the page opens.

Pay per run (spoken analysis ¥0.5, report ¥1), no sign-up, Alipay online payment only. financial data is sent to our backend to generate the report only after payment succeeds, the result comes straight back, and failed runs are refunded automatically.

Frequently asked questions about Financial statements

What do I need to fill in to generate a report?
Six groups: this month incoming and outgoing money (for each entry the amount, whether it is income or an expense, and what the money was for), money you advanced on behalf of the company (including whether the company has repaid it), social insurance and housing fund (company share and employee share separately, plus whether it was paid from the company account or advanced from a personal account), salaries (one row per person: gross, income tax, employee social insurance and housing fund, net paid), the bank card balance at the start and end of the month, and money owed both ways (what others owe the company and what the company owes others). You can also add a free-text note. Filling in a single group is enough to generate a report; anything left out counts as 0 and never raises an error.
How do I enter amounts? Can I write something like "12k"?
No, amounts accept digits only with at most two decimals, for example 12000 or 12000.50. For 12k, enter 12000. The input rejects letters, Chinese characters and extra decimal places, and pasted thousands separators or "¥" are stripped automatically, so formatting is never a problem; once the mouse leaves the field the parsed amount is shown below it so you can confirm there is no typo.
How do I decide which line each amount goes to? What are the income and expense lines?
Four income lines: operating revenue (money from selling goods or providing services), investment income (money earned by putting company cash into wealth-management products or equity stakes), non-operating income (windfalls unrelated to the business, such as subsidies or compensation) and money that is not income (loans, customers repaying debts, the owner transferring money in to cover cash flow; this line stays out of the income statement). Six expense lines: cost of sales (stock, materials, outsourced labour), taxes and surcharges (consumption tax, urban construction tax and education surcharges, stamp duty, property tax and the like, excluding VAT and corporate income tax), selling expenses (advertising, shipping, platform commissions, sales commission), administrative expenses (rent and utilities, salaries and the employer share of social insurance, office and travel, bookkeeping fees), finance expenses (loan interest, card and withdrawal fees, account management fees) and non-operating expenses (fines, donations, theft and write-offs, penalties paid to customers). When filling in the form, open the comparison table above "which line": every line has its meaning, three or four examples and the mistakes most often made.
How is money I advanced for the company, not yet repaid, recorded in the report?
It counts as a company expense, and because the company has not repaid you it also sits under "other payables", read as the company owing the person who advanced the money. If you have already been reimbursed, tick "the company has repaid me" and the report counts only the expense with no liability. Do not enter the same money both as an expense and as an advance, or it will be counted twice.
Does the employee share of social insurance and housing fund count as a company expense?
No. Only the company share is a company cost and enters the costs and expenses in the income statement; the employee share is withheld from salary, so the report does not count it as an expense again and it only affects cash outflow. Anything not yet paid sits under "employee benefits payable", meaning the company owes the social insurance bureau.
How is it recorded when the owner pays social insurance from a personal account first?
Choose "advanced from a personal account", then record who paid it and whether the company has repaid them. The company share, if not yet repaid, sits under "other payables" (the company owes the person who advanced it); once repaid it merely reduces company account cash. The employee share works the same way: it should have been withheld from salary and paid by the company, so if someone else paid it first the company owes them and it also sits under "other payables"; only once the company has repaid them does it merely reduce company account cash. Anything to be paid from the company account but not yet paid sits under "employee benefits payable" (the company owes the social insurance bureau).
What do I enter for salaries? How do I enter each person’s special deductions?
One row per person: gross salary, income tax withheld this month and the employee social insurance and housing fund share; the system computes "payable = gross − income tax − employee social insurance and housing fund", then you enter how much was actually paid, and the difference goes under "employee benefits payable". Special deductions sit in that person’s collapsible section: enter a monthly amount for each of the seven items (children education, care for infants under 3, continuing education, housing loan interest, housing rent, support for elderly parents, serious illness medical expenses) and leave blank what does not apply. Once filled in, taxable salary appears under each person straight away as gross − ¥5000 threshold − employee social insurance and housing fund − total special deductions, floored at 0 when negative (meaning no income tax this month); it only serves to cross-check the income tax, the salary expense in the report still uses the gross total, and income tax is entered as actually declared.
Is the report still accurate without bank card balances?
A report can still be produced, but cash and cash equivalents can only be estimated (opening balance + received − paid − social insurance paid − repayments), so a missed transaction skews it. If you enter the opening and closing balances, the real balances are used and the tool also reconciles the estimated cash against the balance you entered, with the difference listed under the checks. You do not need to copy the bank statement separately: recording the money in and out under "company income and spending" above is enough.
Can the generated report be used directly for tax filing or shown to investors?
Not recommended. It is a simplified basis for non-accountants to make sense of the books: no income tax, depreciation or amortisation, no split between cost of sales and period expenses, and retained earnings derived as assets minus liabilities. It helps you see whether the month was profitable and where the money went, but for official filing leave it to your accountant and go by the accounting vouchers.
How are the figures in the report calculated?
Hover over any line in the report (press and hold on a phone) to see how that line is computed, for example "employee benefits payable = social insurance and housing fund not yet paid from the company account + salary payable but not yet paid" and "retained earnings = total assets − total liabilities". Total assets, cash and cash equivalents, net profit and owners’ equity at the top carry the same explanations.
Can I export or print it?
Yes. Click "Export PDF" in the upper right corner; the browser opens its print dialog and choosing "Save as PDF" gives you an A4 report. The print version outputs only the report itself, the balance sheet and the income statement, with two columns of item and amount and with subtotals and totals; it carries no form on the left, no page navigation, and no basis notes or automatic checks (view those on the page, or click "Copy report"). You can also click "Copy report" to get plain text to paste straight into chat or a document.
I see a report as soon as the page opens. Is that my data?
No, that is a sample report computed locally from sample figures, so you can see what the finished report looks like. Change the figures on the left to your own and click "Generate from my figures" to switch to your report; clicking "Clear" removes the sample with it.
Will what I enter be uploaded?
Yes. The report is generated by our backend, so amounts, notes, social insurance and account balances are submitted with the request and the result comes back as soon as processing finishes; the page does not write anything to local storage and keeps nothing long term. If you would rather not show real names, use placeholders such as "Zhang San" or "a customer".
Can the generated report be used as official books?
No. It arranges your entries into a balance sheet and an income statement on a simplified basis: no income tax, depreciation or amortisation, no split between cost of sales and period expenses, and retained earnings derived as assets minus liabilities. It is meant to show non-accountants whether the month was profitable and where the money went; for official filing, leave it to your accountant and go by the accounting vouchers.
Are the financial figures I enter stored on a server?
No. The figures are sent to our backend only when you click "Generate report", the result comes back as soon as processing finishes, nothing is written to a database and the browser does not use local storage either, so closing or reloading the page releases everything; "Export" is simply a file you download on your own machine, and neither import nor export touches the network.

About Local Toolbox

Local Toolbox gathers the small tools you reach for every day into one place: formatters, encoding converters, date maths, ID card and address parsing, image and QR code handling, password and amount conversion. Open a page and start working — no sign-up, and almost every tool has no usage limit.

Most features compute inside your browser, so your input never leaves your device; the pages are plain static assets, load fast and keep working offline. The IP page asks our backend for your outbound address when it opens and sends none of your input. AI watermark removal, AI background removal, AI image generation and AI upscaling send content to our backend for inference (watermark removal is ¥1 per run; background removal is ¥1 per run; image generation and upscaling are priced by resolution — 2K ¥2, 4K ¥3); AI annotation sends images to a large model that locates the target and returns coordinates (¥0.5 per image, refunded only when every image in the batch fails); AI flowchart, AI mind-map and AI Mermaid chart generation send your text description to a model that builds the diagram (three separate products, charged ¥0.5, ¥0.5 and ¥0.5 per run respectively); and the accounting helper sends the income, expense, social-insurance and balance figures you fill in to generate a report (¥0.5 for the spoken analysis, ¥1 for the report). These features accept Alipay only, upload nothing before payment succeeds, and refund automatically if processing fails.
