Time zone converter

Pick a base time and its time zone to see the local time in common zones around the world side by side — daylight saving is applied automatically — with per-row and whole-table copy. The world map below lets you tap anywhere to see that zone's time, with zoom and pan.

Free and no sign-up. Time zone converter computes and renders entirely in your browser; nothing you enter is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions about Time zone converter

Do I need to add or subtract daylight saving hours myself?
No. The page converts in real time using IANA time zone data: daylight saving cities such as London, New York and Sydney automatically use the offset in effect at that moment, and the result is labelled “DST”. Dates that cross a daylight saving switch (such as the second Sunday of March) use the actual offset on that day.
How do I pick a meeting time that works for everyone?
Set the base time to your own time and pick your zone, then tick the cities of everyone attending. Each row shows its difference from the base, so late-night slots stand out at a glance; copy the whole table into a calendar invite or group post.
How does the world map work?
Tap anywhere on the map and the pane below shows the current time for that zone: on land it resolves to the nearest city zone, while far-offshore points fall back to the Etc/GMT±n fixed-offset band for that longitude. The zone name can join the comparison table in one click. Drag to pan, zoom with the wheel or the buttons at the top right, and hit Reset to return to the whole-world view.
Which time zone is used for timestamp conversion?
Timestamps are parsed and shown in the browser local time zone by default, with the UTC and ISO 8601 results alongside, so comparing logs or scheduling across time zones stays unambiguous.
Do I need to switch between second and millisecond timestamps by hand?
No. 10-digit values are treated as seconds and 13-digit values as milliseconds automatically, and you can also type a date and time such as 2026-10-20 09:30:00.
How does daylight saving work in the time zone converter?
The page converts moment by moment using IANA time zone data (the time zone rules built into your browser). Daylight saving in cities such as London, New York and Sydney applies and is labelled automatically — no manual hour math needed.
Do I need to register or pay to use Time zone converter?
Almost every tool is free, needs no registration or sign-in and has no usage limit; the few pay-per-use features (such as AI watermark removal, AI image generation, AI upscaling, AI annotation, and AI flowchart, mind-map and Mermaid generation) state their prices on the page.
Is the data I process with Time zone converter uploaded to a server?
No. Calculation and rendering run locally in the browser and your input is never sent to a server; only the IP address page asks our backend for your outbound address when it opens, and that request carries none of your input. Features that need the backend (such as AI watermark removal, AI image generation, AI upscaling, AI annotation, AI flowchart and mind-map generation and "Financial statements – Small Business Accounting Standards") state their upload scope on their own pages.

About Local Toolbox

Local Toolbox gathers the small tools you reach for every day into one place: formatters, encoding converters, date maths, ID card and address parsing, image and QR code handling, password and amount conversion. Open a page and start working — no sign-up, and almost every tool has no usage limit.

Most features compute inside your browser, so your input never leaves your device; the pages are plain static assets, load fast and keep working offline. The IP page asks our backend for your outbound address when it opens and sends none of your input. AI watermark removal, AI background removal, AI image generation and AI upscaling send content to our backend for inference (watermark removal is ¥1 per run; background removal is ¥1 per run; image generation and upscaling are priced by resolution — 2K ¥2, 4K ¥3); AI annotation sends images to a large model that locates the target and returns coordinates (¥0.5 per image, refunded only when every image in the batch fails); AI flowchart, AI mind-map and AI Mermaid chart generation send your text description to a model that builds the diagram (three separate products, charged ¥0.5, ¥0.5 and ¥0.5 per run respectively); and the accounting helper sends the income, expense, social-insurance and balance figures you fill in to generate a report (¥0.5 for the spoken analysis, ¥1 for the report). These features accept Alipay only, upload nothing before payment succeeds, and refund automatically if processing fails.
